Quick Summery
Template editing requests will soon be submitted exclusively through the BespokeBooth Template Widget. The option for members to submit an editing request directly from individual template pages will be deactivated. We’re making an important change to how members submit templates to the BespokeBooth editing team. Currently, members can submit an editing request themselves from an individual template page or allow their client to choose and submit a template through their Template Widget. Going forward, all stock template editing requests will need to be submitted through your Template Widget.
What’s Changing?
The editing request option currently available on individual template product pages will be deactivated.
Instead, editing requests will be submitted through your own Template Widget.
Your client can choose their preferred template, enter their event information and submit their request directly through your branded widget.
If you prefer to make the selection on behalf of your client, you can also use your own widget to submit the request.
Why We’re Making This Change
Moving editing requests into the Widget creates one consistent workflow for template selections and editing requests.
Instead of requests coming through multiple areas of BespokeBooth, the Widget will become the central place for managing the client template-selection process.
This will also work alongside the new Widget Dashboard, where members can manage their widgets and view incoming client submissions.
What Members Need to Do
If you use the BespokeBooth editing service, please make sure your Template Widget is set up and ready to use.
Once the direct editing option on template pages is deactivated, you will need to use your Widget for future stock template editing requests.
You can either:
- Send your Widget to your client and let them choose and submit their template themselves, or
- Open your own Widget and submit the client’s selection and event details on their behalf.
Important Note
This change affects how editing requests are submitted. It does not remove the professional template editing service included with eligible memberships. You will still be able to browse and download templates directly from the BespokeBooth template library as normal. Only the submission process for requesting an edit is changing.
